In this role, you will be driving thought leadership and authoring content to deliver industry-differentiating value proposition messaging, customer case studies and cross-technology solutions to address insurance industry and financial services industry business imperatives. Collaborate and inspire our global industry cross-functional leadership with best practices, training, content and sales/services enablement aimed to transform financial service institutions to new digital FSI business models for increased agility, profitable growth and risk mitigation.

● Shape Cisco industry-specific global thought leadership targeting P&C, life and healthcare insurance line-of-business executives and imperatives with agile FSI industry-differentiated value proposition messaging, solutions and go-to-market programs
● Collaborate with customers, peers, account teams, analysts, press, and other external / internal audiences and utilize real-time analytics to lead Cisco financial services industry-specific strategy, GTM plans and targeted messaging to accelerate digital business models.
● Develop and curate portfolio of content and assets that compel LoB exec buying centers to enter into an engagement with Cisco. Content will be applied globally but also adaptable to the unique communication requirements of each country industry marketing and sales team.
● Ensure successful execution of strategy across the organization in support of Cisco’s business objectives, including continued growth and solution (product and services) recognition
● Has deep knowledge of industry’s imperatives and initiatives and has ability to translate how Cisco’s strategy for solutions, technologies, products and services meets those needs
● Provides cross-functional leadership as an industry-recognized vertical SME to ensure a holistic portfolio of GTM across product, services and partner solutions; leads in developing high quality content that drives solution awareness and supports LoB BD initiatives
● Proactively identify data-driven growth opportunities and lead projects to drive direction, resource allocation and impact for the global industry practice
Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelors in Business, Marketing or equivalent
● Minimum 8 to 10 years global FSI and insurance industry expertise and experience in sales, business development and/or marketing
● Established digital marketing skills in B2B capacity
● Business acumen, knowledge and expertise to anticipate business / industry issues, recommend industry / customer solutions, design and implement Cisco business framework / process improvements, and actively provide expertise in the influence of sales / business development with customers and partners
● Proven experience in working with both line of business insurance executives as well as IT and bringing both sides together to solve business challenges.
● Demonstrated ability to work across sales, technology and services groups and to lead an outside-in/customer- centric focus.
● Strong written communication and presentation skills at the C-level
● Estimated 30% travel required, both domestic and international
