The Office Products Team within the Consumer Electronics organization is looking for a driven, strategic, customer-centric business leader with a passion for the Office business and experience managing a high growth category. This Manager of Vendor Management will lead a team of vendor managers across a dynamic set of Office Electronics product categories while partnering with the world’s leading brands.

The Manager of Vendor Management will be an owner, solution-focused and analytical. She/He will bring a proven track record of building and developing people/organizations, making data-driven decisions, identifying and adding process improvements, fostering strong vendor partnerships, and advocating on behalf of customers. The candidate will have proven experience delivering results both within and outside her/his organization. The successful candidate will utilize and expand skills in e-commerce business management, vendor negotiations, and ultimately in running a large retail business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a full P&L, including planning, forecasting and driving growth for the category, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business. This entails owning supplier relationships, along with responsibility for driving strategic projects to achieve business objectives.
Set goals and strategic direction for the department, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
Drive strategic negotiations with external vendors.
Hire, develop and lead team of Retail Vendor Managers.
Generate and implement big ideas to drive business improvement, innovation, and scale within the category and across the retail business as a whole.
Cross functional collaboration on necessary systems and processes to support business needs, including retail systems, site merchandising and in-stock.
Identify industry trends that are relevant to customer selection and experience.
Collaborate on Marketing and Merchandising initiatives.
Innovate and implement new customer and vendor programs.
Basic Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience in online retailing, retail buying, retail category management, supplier management or merchandising
5+ years managerial experience
Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
Proficiency with Excel and data analytics
5+ years negotiation experience
Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams and business units
Ability to analyze large data sets to make strategic decisions
Ability to travel both overseas and domestically as needed

Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment
e-Commerce experience preferred
