Learning and Development Partner Facebook Menlo Park

As a means to support the expansion of demand for our work and support, we are hiring a Learning leader to support our business teams at Facebook, including HR & Recruiting, Legal, Finance, Community Operations, IT, Public Policy and Corporate Communications. This role will be based at our Menlo Park, California headquarters. Reporting to the global Head of Learning, the scope of this role will be to develop strategic learning plans and to coordinate the delivery of these plans for each client group, as well to drive a number of important initiatives in direct support of these diverse and important clients.

Responsibilities

Partner with key stakeholders to conduct a strategic needs analysis for each client group, and to develop and drive comprehensive learning plans that are consistent with these needs.
Develop and drive a manager effectiveness strategy for each client, and coordinate and/or deliver manager training and coaching for managers as required.
Identify and address specific learning needs for individual clients in partnership with the relevant HR Business Partner.
Partner with the Facebook L&D Content team, to co-ordinate and deliver leadership development programs as required.
Support the clients’ Organizational Development needs, including support for turnkey teambuilding workshops & business planning offsite events, in partnership with the relevant HR Business Partner.
Provide 1:1 coaching support Managers and Leaders as required.
Provide close and effective partnership with key stakeholders to the benefit of your clients, including the Facebook L&D Content team, HR Business Partners, People Analytics and People Operations.
Participate as an active thought partner and team member to the global learning & development team, the HR leadership team, and the training team, including surfacing and sharing best practice, attending regular team meetings and meeting strategic partners regularly to coordinate and agree on strategy and operational direction.
Provide regular data reporting, sharing these performance insights on the impact of these interventions to the client and HR Business Partners as appropriate.

Requirements

12+ years of direct experience operating as a consultant within an L&D organization. 7 + years of direct experience supporting clients at a strategic level.
Demonstrable skills across several core domains essential for delivering L&D excellence, including conducting strategic needs analysis, program design and facilitation, organizational design, coaching and consulting.
5+ years of experience, gained working in technology industry or similar fast moving environments.
Proven track record of high performance and substantial experience at both a strategic and operational level within this industry or consulting to this industry.
Confidence and experience in leveraging learning technologies and information reporting tools, as well as effective program management.
Ideally possess a Masters degree in a business or Human Resource discipline, and additional certifications with psychological diagnostic tools and industry recognized certifications for well established content programs are also desirable.
Excellent communications skills and confidence in consulting and advising at all levels, including with Facebook’s leaders.
