The position is responsible for finding, developing and executing on opportunities for privacy program innovation, improvement, and thought leadership. This position's broad mandate includes privacy program and data governance strategy development and operationalization in collaboration with members and leaders of the Data Protection and Privacy team, the Security and Trust Organization, and Product Development (especially with UX, Engineering, and Quality functions). Crucial to this role is internal and external advocacy and policy development, communication, and training, as well fluency in the concepts of privacy engineering. This role reports directly to the Chief Privacy Office and functions as its Chief of Staff.

Minimum Qualifications
● At least 15 years of professional experience in privacy and data protection
● Ability to balance quality of work with deadlines, to identify risk issues affecting work progress and to recommend solutions
● Proven experience defining, implementing and reporting associated metrics to ensure the appropriate progress and performance of activities
● Ability to build strong relationships with individuals and organizations
● Ability to present ideas and recommendations effectively to a variety of audiences (from peers to senior executives)
● Experience working on virtual teams and with cross-functional organizations; demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams to complete projects and major initiatives
● Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills/abilities. Strong editorial capabilities
● Exhibits excellent follow-through, is flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment and works well independently
● Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects
