Senior Director SaaS Operations BlackBerry San Mateo

Sr. Director of SaaS Operations will manage a team of professionals, with network and infrastructure operations, security and compliance operations, and actively work with AtHoc and BlackBerry software and technology engineering to implement a managed dev-ops environment while maintaining all security certifications.
Sr. Director of SaaS Operations will be responsible for scaling and extending the services offered and their footprint, while ensuring that ongoing operation is maintained and complying with its internal and external SLAs.
Sr. Director of SaaS Operations will work with AtHoc business leadership, product, technology, services, and support, as well as with partners, to ensure coordination and orchestration of existing SaaS operation and future growth per business plans.
Sr. Director of SaaS Operations needs excellent management skills in a fast-paced environment, while prioritizing and orchestrating multiple constituents and tasks. The individual must be well versed and experienced with current cloud operations processes and tools.
AtHoc SaaS Operations is a dynamic function, providing the opportunity for significant growth in knowledge and experience in the areas of SaaS technologies and operations, risk and compliance management, global operation with distributed teams.
Primary Responsibilities
Own and manage AtHoc 24x7 SaaS operations globally while maintaining internal and external SLAs, and security posture and certification
Lead architecture and implementation discussions and decisions, to plan for growth, scale and continuous extension of the SaaS services offered
Lead processes of procurement, installation and setup of AtHoc, BlackBerry, security and SaaS technologies to support ongoing operation as well as growth
Manage a team of SaaS operations professionals to support and maintain SaaS Operations
Manage hybrid cloud environment of private, public and FedRAMP cloud environments
Manage team to implementations of AtHoc customers using SaaS environments, while working with customer success, services and support groups
Coordinate and work with AtHoc and BlackBerry security functions to establish and maintain security posture and certifications
Work with AtHoc and BlackBerry SaaS Engineering teams, to ensure readiness of deployed technologies as well as cloud infrastructure
Introduce and implement large scale deployment automation and monitoring capabilities to streamline SaaS Operations
Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in processes, technologies and tools; work with the teams to prioritize and put plans in place to address them
Participate in the Security Incident Response Team
Qualifications
MA or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Must be a US citizen, US government clearance is a plus
10+ years in managing SaaS operations in a similar capacity
Owning and running an operations budget
Technology implementation leadership
Managing diverse teams in a 24x7 operational environment including infrastructure, network, monitoring, dev-ops engineers and SaaS configurations experts
Diverse infrastructure environments Windows and Linux for both private and public clouds
Be well versed and have hands-on experience managing design and implementation of SaaS technologies, including DevOps tools, processes and practices
Working experience with commercial cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure and others
Working experience with implementing automated deployment tools and processes, end-to-end and comprehensive monitoring tools and processes
Excellent networking and security understanding
Past experience with security compliance and certification - at least one of NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27000
Excellent organization and presentation skills; PMP is a plus
