Principal Leadership Development Web Services Utility Computing Amazon Seattle

As the Principal, Leadership Development for Amazon Web Services Utility Computing, you will focus on building end to end leadership capabilities. You’ll join a team of leadership development experts and matrix into the HR Leader leading human resources for Utility Computing. In this role you will partner with business leaders, HRBPs, and the broader Amazon Leadership Development community to drive new ways to build our leadership and management capabilities. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of leadership development systems, design and execution of experiments, and the design and facilitation of leadership and management learning.

The Amazon Web Services Leadership Development and Talent Management team works across our HR line, engages with our business leaders, and partners with the central teams and other business units to drive our work forward.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience building, deploying, and measuring leadership development solutions.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a heavily matrixed environment.
Proven success in developing and implementing a project/portfolio management strategy.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
Experience measuring and reporting on business impact of leadership systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
International experience developing leaders, designing and delivering learning solutions in two or more countries.
Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

12+ years of progressive experience architecting end to end leadership systems and consulting with senior executives.
Experience in a high growth business environment with the practical application of leadership development, learning, and talent management.
Leadership coaching experience using 360 instruments and / or a variety of psychometric instruments.
Global experience developing leaders across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific.
Graduate degree preferred.
