The Events Recruiting Specialist must be able to successfully work with these partners to execute a recruiting events strategy that is a critical channel for hiring in the AWS organization. They will evaluate successes and make continuous improvement actions and recommendations. They understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. They have a reputation for being exceptional with customer, candidate, and vendor experience.

Responsibilities:
Coordinating event interviews, in some cases arranging travel for visiting candidates
Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status
Coordinating the pre-brief and post-interview debrief meetings Act as the project manager for domestic and international events
Manage the event project timeline to ensure events are on track and tasks are completed by all parties on time
Provide weekly event status updates
Manage venue selection and contract negotiation
Attend offside events when needed
Create event landing pages
Identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed
Provide cost analysis on a per event basis
Analyze process and workflows, suggesting changes where appropriate
Participate in cross-organizational projects to drive process improvements
Identify and foresee potential risk areas in our processes
Partner to create and implement forward-looking event plans
Streamline communications for internal and external audiences
Basic Qualifications
Experience with MS Word and Excel
Bachelor’s degree
2+ year of Recruiter and /or Recruiting Coordinator experience
Experience with Recruiting Systems, HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Preferred Qualifications
Superb customer focus, attention to detail and organization skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
Vendor Management experience
Demonstrated ability to invent and simplify
Project Management experience
