• Supports Global Head, Statistical Sciences in providing leadership to statisticians working in Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) and related areas
• Provides global leadership of statistical input throughout CMC work in R&D, and to generate business value by driving the adoption of statistical best practice in CMC work within R&D.
• Works with product development and commercial manufacturing organisations within GSK to effectively harness statistical insight and expertise to reduce the risk of product manufacture problems.
• Helps develop the capability of statistical sciences, and of the broader statistics organisation at GSK, promoting and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self development.
Basic qualifications:
• Minimum Qualification: MS in Statistics or related discipline with extensive experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Experience in using statistical packages such as SAS, R, Statistica, Design Expert or SIMCA
• Experimental design experience – analysis experience needed.
• Leadership experience and ability to work in a global matrix.
Preferred qualifications:
• Preferred Qualification: Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field with applicable experience
• Experience in pharma is preferred; CMC experience is preferred
