Director Leadership Development ADP Roseland

In this position you will be responsible for the strategic planning, design, and implementation of all training and educational aspects of ADP's Leadership Development Program. This position will work across all business units to identify emerging leaders, educate and cultivate candidates for leadership positions, and conduct comprehensive assessment of development needs for each candidate throughout the program to close leadership competency skill gaps.
This person will be a liaison and be expected to collaborate with all levels of leadership within all business units and HR partners. This collaboration will identify Business Unit specific needs that result in maximizing leadership effectiveness while reinforcing core leadership skills across the organization. This person will be expected to leverage both internal and external resources to create solutions that include a blended learning approach, such as coaching, mentoring, instructor-led and e-learning options. The role must engage with the sales SVPs and DVPs as well as individuals at the highest levels in relevant business partners such as HR, IT, Corporate and Sales Learning Departments along with outside vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide strong leadership skills and expertise through personalized and ongoing coaching sessions to front-line managers to improve leadership effectiveness
Build and implement roadmaps that ensure the capabilities of leaders for future challenges and roles that support worldwide leadership talent movement for the organization
Develop integrated communication plans which build awareness and gather continuous feedback from stakeholders for ongoing improvement and impact of the Leadership Development Program
Continually build strong relationship and partnerships throughout the organization (specifically with the Sales Learning teams) to leverage synergies, best practices, and utilization of tools and resources
Work with instructional design team and other functional areas across the organization to validate the field relevance of leadership content
Collaborate with senior sales leadership to identify and execute on key strategic productivity and development initiatives for field leadership
Manage both small and large scale projects, leading and contributing to as well as directing and coaching others with competing/changing deadlines
Provide insight on learning solutions to improve leadership performance to better meet business strategies and goals across all Business Units
Execute corporate initiatives when needed
Establishes key performance indicators for sales leadership as well as for Sales Ops.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
3+ years proven success in a sales or training/development leadership role with experience in full people management responsibilities including hiring, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and development
Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in education and experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
Proven success as a sales representative managing a complex territory
Strong understanding of key leadership competencies and adult learning principles
Ability to lead complex projects
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; ability to adapt style of communication based on audience throughout all levels leadership within the organization
Understanding and experience with blended learning (70:20:10 model)
Extremely proactive and self-managed, naturally inquisitive, desire to continuously improve current business practices
Aptitude for time management, setting priorities, and meeting challenging deadlines
Strong facilitation and presentation skills
Willingness to travel; this position requires 30-50% travel
2+ years proven success in a Leader of Leaders (manager of managers) position in either sales or training and development
Experience in design and execution of leadership development programs
Manage a large number of individual development plans within a dynamic environment
Understanding of Ken Blanchard's Situational Leadership, Challenger Selling Model and Behavior-based Interviewing
Basic understanding of Instructional Design, e-learning technologies, and LMS systems
