In this highly visible leadership role, you will be responsible and accountable for the core team delivering programs that address trust, security and privacy needs at a strategic, national level. You will also be responsible for leading the incubation of new effort to drive security and trust initiatives in select countries in the Americas designated for digitization acceleration.
● Market sensing: Know and understand market trends, needs and desires, based on customer feedback, market research and personal network
● Strategy development: Define strategy in collaboration with global in-country teams and the corporate Country Digitization Acceleration (CDA) team to nurture and improve existing offers for uptake by in-country teams, while constantly developing and delivering new ones. This includes, but is not limited to, strategies to ensure market access in target countries, certifications, and techniques for threat knowledge sharing.
● Leadership: Grow and nurture staff of technical and business leaders to develop offers for in-country execution, in collaboration with the country team and stakeholders across Cisco; and drive in-country teams to execute and provide feedback on results
● World-class execution: Drive ruthless execution of the strategy including shared offers and playbooks to meet aggregated country requirements, provide executive updates on success and future vision, and demonstrate constant improvement in all areas of the business
● America’s CDA Liaison: Be the primary interface between the STO CDA team, the Corporate CDA team, and designated CDA countries in the Americas. Responsibilities include integrating into regional leadership teams, incubating the overall effort, and shaping and formalizing appropriate programs and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
● Ability to translate strategic concepts into execution in a pragmatic way
● Ability to plan and manage multiple tracks in an organized and efficient way
● Effective communication, leadership, influencing and negotiation skills
● Ability to operate with confidence in front of customers and executives
● International experience necessary
● Background in cyber security technologies or policy
● Previous management experience highly desired
