The Director of International Reporting is part of the Global Financial Reporting team. This team is primarily responsible for statutory compliance reporting worldwide and is located in Bellevue, Washington.
Responsibilities:
Implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with Country by Country Reporting (CbC)
Create, maintain, and automate complex financial models to support transfer pricing
Partner with our non-integrated subsidiaries to ensure global processes are being followed
Liaise with the tax and FP&A teams to develop structure for legal entity forecasting
Proactively update and track progress of global statutory filings
Partner with various senior leaders across multiple functions to ensure adequate reporting is in place to allow repatriation of foreign funds
Define long term plan for Expedia’s intercompany policies and procedures
Validate local statutory financial statements reconcile to US GAAP financial statements
Work on special projects as needed
Qualifications:
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong knowledge of accounting and finance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Works well in a team environment
Uses good judgment and makes decisions as necessary
Foreign currency experience
Experience with Oracle Financials or similar ERP system preferred
Work Experience and Education Guidelines:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required
12+ years accounting experience with management responsibilities required
CPA preferred
Public Accounting experience preferred
