ORC International has an exciting opportunity to join its Boston office as a Senior Director, Client Solutions. In this position you will have a diversified role across business development and client management building, maintaining and expanding client relationships while designing, selling and overseeing research. This position will direct custom market research project from inception to completion, managing the junior project team and ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met.
You will oversee and/or develop non-competitive proposals, as well as provide active support to VPs / SVPs for competitive proposals (new client and procurement-led proposals). The Senior Director, Client Solutions will also be responsible for working with junior staff to contribute to their training and development. Responsibilities:
Scope and budget potential engagements for current clients
Draft proposals for potential engagements for current clients
Manage Client Solutions teams to complete engagements within the agreed-upon scope and budget
Oversee the analysis and delivery of insights to the client to ensure that all goals and facets of the engagement are met
Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients
Contribute to the training and development of junior staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
5-8 years direct work experience
Managing quantitative research engagements
Client-facing experience required
