The Huffington Post is looking for a high caliber business leader to lead Revenue/Operations, driving scalable revenue growth across the organization. This will involve identifying, creating and providing day-to-day support of strategic opportunities that extend the revenue growth of The Huffington Post.
The Director of Revenue/Operations is based in New York and reports directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and build relationships with partners, stakeholders, and parent companies.
• Analyze and assess advertising based revenue and related strategy.
• Collaborate with all revenue generating teams supporting the organization, including sales, programmatic advertising, and Partner Studio.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Business Development, Analytics and International leads to develop and implement strategies for growing and optimizing commerce revenue.
• Perform market intelligence and analysis and evaluate new growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or other relevant/quantitative disciplines from a leading university, MBA a plus
• 5+ years of experience in revenue management, strategic planning, sales operations and/or business development, preferably in the digital media or internet space
• Deep knowledge of and passion for emerging technologies, e-commerce, internet business models and digital media
• Able to develop or oversee quantitative analysis and derive actionable insights
• Can lead/influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization
• Results and detail oriented, with strong commercial/business acumen
