This focus of this position is to be seen and valued as a true consultative business partner by turning Nielsen data and research into valuable insights and actionable recommendations, solving our client’s most pressing business issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Use your expertise of the client, industry and data to elevate Nielsen’s relationship with the client by proactively providing insights and recommendations based on Nielsen data
Understand and integrate a wide suite of Nielsen products and data sets to creatively address client’s business objectives
Partner with Nielsen subject matter experts on ad hoc, custom research projects as needed
Build and maintain ongoing business partner relationships cross functionally within the client organization
Make high impact presentations to influence senior level client stakeholders
Conduct training with client associates regarding Nielsen products and services

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing, Market Research, or related field
5-7 years experience in Marketing, Advertising, Market or Media Research. Music industry experience preferred.
Account management and consultative selling savviness
Impeccable, polished communication skills & style
Strong quantitative, data tabulation and analytic skills
Ability to independently analyze data, draw conclusions and provide recommendations
Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, functions, formulas, charts, graphs)
A genuine understanding of and passion for the entertainment and music industry
Strong interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external stakeholders
Have a natural curiosity and be an independent thinker
Experience with Nielsen measurement data preferred
Knowledge of music metadata and terminology
