As part of the US Military customer-facing organization, the Key Accounts Director will lead all on-site customer account portfolio execution, orders and sales activities for GE Aviation, while cultivating long-term relationships at all levels within the customer’s organizations and across GE. In this role, you will enable processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues, be involved in long-term planning and contribute to the overall GE business strategy.
In addition you will :
Responsible for obtaining Original Equipment, Retrofit, Upgrade, Spares, Repairs and Performance Based Logistics orders and sales by defining and implementing a comprehensive account sales strategy
Lead all aspects of portfolio growth including strategy development, integrated account planning, opportunity identification, and value communication
Develop value propositions and structure, negotiate and close deals
Be the primary conduit for a detailed understanding of customer’s business model and how GE’s products and services develop and deliver added-value
Cultivate long-term relationships at all levels of customer’s organizations and within GE
Accountable for overall customer satisfaction
Contribute to definition and implementation of marketing and commercial strategies to increase order volume and profitability
Leverage cross-functional and cross-business resources in order to maximize market penetration
Capture and articulate Voice of the Customer for new product and / or service solutions. Identify new market opportunities and cross-sell GE products
Matrix with functional, product and field teams to achieve growth objectives
Represent all GE Aviation military products and services at assigned customer (engines and systems)
Qualifikationen/Anforderungen
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a customer account, sales or marketing position
