Senior Director Digital Commerce Performance Marketing Nike Portland

As our Digital Commerce Senior Digital Marketing Director you will enable Nike.com to both reach/exceed revenue goals and build the Nike brand by driving traffic, revenue and maximizing efficiency in Digital marketing channels by smartly allocating the demand creation budget by channel. Additionally, you will define and execute the overall online marketing strategy for the business, including:
Drive growth in all Digital traffic vehicles (both paid and unpaid), to ensure traffic volumes meet Nike’s strategic growth priorities for both Nike.com and retail stores.
Identify & execute strategies that provide a long term path for continuous improvement in efficiencies of paid marketing spend
Deepen relationships with our consumers via 1:1 marketing channels to drive loyalty and repeat purchase.
Lead the annual budget creation process for all digital marketing channels.
Lead cross channel attribution efforts to ensure budgets reflect true value of the respective marketing channels
Ensure team is integrated into seasonal planning processes to support the key initiatives product launches and sports moments.
Ensure marketing channels are managed in a way to ensure category specific needs and priorities are being met while still maximizing top line revenue goals
Develop new approaches to connect with consumers including leading Nike’s evolving social marketing strategies for the Direct to Consumer business.
You will also manage the Digital Marketing team responsible for driving traffic to Nike.com, including Paid Search, Social, Email, SEO, Affiliates & Display advertising. This includesoverseeing the selection and management of vendors and agencies that support the team’s activities. You willpartner with the analytics team to analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly reports: draw insights, help the team identify optimization tactics, adjust strategy. Finally, you willprovide expert mentoring, role clarity and development opportunities for team members to help them continue to expand their capabilities and growth at Nike. 731463 Qualifications

Requirements for the position include:

Bachelor’s in Business, Analytical, Marketing, Economics, IT or Engineering Degree.
Masters degree (MBA/MSc etc) a plus
10+ years of work experience in Digital/online marketing; strong background in e-commerce required.
Previous experience managing Digital marketing professionals in a corporate setting; proven track record of helping drive and cultivate professional growth of team members required
Exceptionally strongunderstanding of Digital marketing across key channels including Paid Search, Email, Affiliates, SEO, Display Media and Social in an e-commerce setting required
Previous experience with managing budgets and having a proven record of demonstrating strong return on investment is critical
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills,including presentations on complex business issues required
Exceptionally strong analytical skills & comfort with getting your “hands dirty” diving deep into the numbers. Proven capability to use data to drive business decisions & marketing optimization required.
Strong understanding of web analytics best practices and available data relevant to marketing optimization required
Previous experience managing online marketing for a multichannel retailer, combining both online and offline success criteria preferred
Experience managing social marketing channels preferred
Familiarity with managing and optimizing Digital marketing channels to differentiate between acquisition and retention activities, minimizing cost per customer acquired while executing strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.
Previous experience working with a premium positioned brand and understanding tactics that can both build and potentially erode brand equity a plus
