Senior Director Customer Communication GoDaddy Kirkland

You will inspire and collaborate to grow top-line sales and launch customer marketing initiatives. This role will be a database marketing guru with experience in email and mobile communications—focusing on strategy, implementation, database management and segmentation, building customer loyalty, and team building.

Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic planning, development and implementation of our marketing initiatives, including email, SMS, and app notifications
Develop and evolve a dynamic customer segmentation strategy that increases the efficiency of the marketing channel, while effectively engaging and driving profitable revenue within segments
Introduce new database marketing strategies and A/B tests to optimize marketing messages and customer segments
Build relationships with internal partners, including operations, international and product teams
Supervise day-to-day activities of marketing team, including prioritization of campaign initiatives across markets, products and segments
Oversee development and implementation of an email marketing strategy to profitably increase the share of revenue driven by this marketing channel
Track and analyze user behavior to optimize engagement and retention
Develop strong collaborative relationships with our online marketing, merchandising, analytics, design, and customer support teams to develop multi-channel marketing strategies and ensure consistency of brand and marketing messages

Requirements:

6-10 years of marketing experience
3+ years of experience in database marketing and customer segmentation
3+ years of experience with email marketing planning and strategy, including in dynamic segmentation and drip campaigns
3+ years of experience managing a team and developing their functional expertise and thought leadership
Analytic background with the ability to design A/B tests that yield statistical results to optimize database marketing campaigns.
Experience in e-commerce retail with multi-channel marketing strategy preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, ecommerce solutions and analytics tools, especially MS Excel, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms
Experience presenting to senior levels of leadership
Creative problem solver
Strong academic background preferred
