Elemental Technologies, an AWS company, is the leading supplier of software-defined video solutions for multiscreen content delivery and we are looking for an experienced Director of Sales Operations. This role is responsible for everything from defining, developing, and maintaining the order process through day-to-day execution of the business and development of associated reporting. The ideal candidate has broad leadership skills, strong financial acumen, and a deep analytic background.
In this role, you will drive improvements to cross-organizational processes and systems related to sales, partnering with other team leaders in finance, marketing, operations, product management, and customer support to create and refine the tools needed to drive sales productivity increases. You will develop detailed bookings and qualified billings attainment, report progress against those plans to sales management, and make recommendations for changes to sales strategies and investments based on those results.

This hands-on role leads the sales operations team in developing, implementing, and managing the sales processes, systems, reports, and strategies that optimize sales functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives.

What you’ll do:
Lead the evolution, management, integration, and implementation of sales support systems/processes to meet the rapid growth of the business and its revenue, qualified billings, and bookings attainment, and market development objectives
Manage the development of continuously-evolving forecast models and methodologies and owning the quantitative analysis of the performance of our sales team, customers, prospects, partners, markets, and products/services
Develop, manage, and provide sales bookings and customer adoption reporting capabilities/systems to field personnel, and sales management that supports a global, multi-channel sales organization with actionable analytics
Effectively manage the growth of the sales strategy and operations team as it scales rapidly to meet the growing needs of the business
Manage the development of continuously-evolving forecast models and methodologies, owning the quantitative analysis of the performance of our sales team, customers, prospects, partners, markets, and products/services
Manage the monthly and quarterly cadenced business reporting for the business segment
Develop relationships and processes with sales, finance, HR, operations and other stakeholders to identify and address reporting issues
Assist Sales Managers in all aspects of evaluating their teams’ performance
Ensure accurate and timely sales commission calculations and payments
Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of significant experience in a senior leadership role in Sales, Sales Operations, Sales Management, or other related field or similar responsibilities supporting a mid-to-large scale multi-geographical high-tech Sales Organization
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
Experience in multiple organizational functions such as forecasting, organizational development, etc.
Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures, and policies
Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
Strong financial, analytical, and communication skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management
Deep experience of Microsoft Office Suite required (extensive knowledge of Excel required)
Excellent cross-group collaboration skills, are highly organized, and are efficient in ambiguous situations
