Hulu’s Distribution & Partnerships team is seeking a Director, Partner Marketing who will be an exceptional addition to our team. This role will be a key leader within the Distribution and Partnerships team responsible for driving innovative subscriber acquisition growth and engagement strategies directly with Hulu’s distribution partners. Partners include OEMs, MVPD and Telco operators, and enterprise businesses. This position reports to the SVP of Distribution and Partnerships.
The position requires somebody who can think and act with both the left and right sides of their brain to break barriers and drive innovative growth strategies while collaborating and balancing needs across external relationships and internal priorities and teams.

This analytical and creative person should have experience collaborating with a business development team, driving subscriber acquisition, managing relationships, implementing 360 marketing campaigns through partnership channels, growing and overseeing a team, all while having excellent communications skills and the ability to think big picture while still seeing the details. This person thinks big, learns quickly, and approaches everything with humility, enthusiasm and a desire to make things better.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Provide thought leadership and business insight to the ongoing development and enhancement of Hulu’s subscriber acquisition strategy and activities with distribution partners.
Manage partner marketing relationships within the context of Hulu’s overall business relationships with key partners.
Collaborate and build strong team work and communication with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Product, Development, Finance and others
Collaborate closely with Hulu’s Marketing team to develop the marketing strategy, creative development and other key components of each partner marketing initiative.
Work in consultation with internal and external stakeholders to analyze data, optimize performance and drive significant growth from partner marketing initiatives (aka growth hacking).
Grow partner marketing organization into first class subscriber growth, marketing and analytics team.
Manage a team of direct reports that drive development and implementation of partner marketing programs throughout various partner ecosystems (Digital, Print, Retail, TV, etc.).
Direct a multi-million dollar partner marketing budget dedicated to media buys on partner platforms
This individual should be able to combine both an analytical and creative thought processes and apply them to internal and external relationship management, subscriber acquisition and marketing strategies, and organizational growth and management.

WHAT TO BRING
Bachelors Degree, MBA a plus (but not required)
At least 8+ years of partner marketing and/or subscriber growth experience preferably in a media/entertainment and/or digital/subscription industry
Direct experience in customer acquisition on digital platforms
Deep experience leading, managing, and developing direct staff
Good technical and digital platform knowledge including OTT and mobile devices
Solid track record analyzing data and performance, presenting new ideas and partner engagements
Capable of driving internal stakeholders to a consensus on important issues
Strong partner engagement skills with the ability to develop relationships, and maximize existing partner channels and relationships into programs that drive ongoing business results
Excellent communication skills with an ability to address business, marketing and technical audiences.
Detailed knowledge of entertainment, new digital trends and technologies
Willingness to travel (>10%)
