Direct all aspects of New York University's School of Law editorial content, including the Law School magazine and stories/coverage on the website. Create a unified editorial voice for publications and web content that integrates the School of Law's marketing and public relations strategies.
Qualifications/Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or related field.
Preferred Education: Master's degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related field.
Required Experience: 3 years' professional writing and editing experience or an equivalent combination. Must include experience creating editorial materials for interactive mediums and print publications and managing budgets.
Preferred Experience:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.): Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and delegate work to ensure completion of multiple assignments and adherence to deadlines. Strong organizational skills and detail orientation. Knowledge of Word, Quark, and Excel applications.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.): Experience with web editing software.
