Job Description:
We are building our core Engineering team, and are looking for exceptional, multi-skilled talent to join our NYC studio. Our Engineering Leads are seasoned masters of the software craft, with broad responsibility for collaborating with teams to deliver technical solutions to customer problems and opportunities. Genuine technical breadth and depth are a must, equally these roles demand a passion for the ‘softer side’ of hard engineering.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for running and implementing continuous improvement initiatives Manage multiple teams within the Domain Manage the Development process for your team (Kanban) Make sure your team implements any department initiatives including all the high performing team behaviors Remove impediments
• Working with the Strategy and UX/UI Design teams as well as customer organizations to architect, design, and implement solutions

• Designing, developing and productising components and services that make up our Digital Rig – a fully automated platform and CD stack we use to bootstrap and accelerate Customer Journey Engineering

• Determine, apply and improve appropriate methodologies and toolsets for a customer’s culture and operating environment

• Participate in and lead digital workshops with customer organizations

• Complete solutions by coordinating, communicating, and contributing to team meetings and customer engagements.

• Explore up-and-coming technologies and software products; seize learning and knowledge sharing opportunities; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations. Read; teach; learn.

• Enhance the group’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value.

• Support the team by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities

Skills & Experience

You are proficient or more in most of these areas:

· Continuous delivery with a deep understanding of enabling technologies and practices

· Cloud and automation technologies, e.g. Amazon Web Services, Ansible / Chef / Puppet

· Platform and systems architecture

· Front end and mobile / device technologies - the usual suspects

· Modern ops technologies - monitoring, log aggregation, alerting

· Working knowledge of security patterns and techniques

· Data engineering and analytics technologies, e.g. Pandas, Spark, Flume, AWS data stack

In addition
• Strong critical thinking and trouble-shooting skills
• Highly accountable for meeting all commitments and deadlines
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal for technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred
Proven experience in developing and managing client relationships
Presented in Industry Domain Forums ; has IP to his/her credit
