Director Sales Systems Operations Loews Hotels New York City

Job Description:
Loews Hotels is currently seeking a Director of Sales Systems and Operations to join the team. S/he will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Operations and Learning, IT leadership, and each of our properties, to focus on the continuous improvement of property Sales Operations through communicating, training and auditing adherence to brand and operating standards. S/he will lead system administration efforts for the company, oversee brand reporting for sales and catering, and provide ongoing subject matter expertise to property-based personnel for items such as: system configuration, daily use, custom and canned reporting, etc.
More Specifically, Responsibilities Include
Assist in creating and updating Sales discipline and brand standards in scloews
Ensure new and updated standards are communicated to the field
Properly train and communicate to the field all aspects of the sales systems and processes
Onboard new hotels into our Sales and Catering systems and standards
Provide leadership guidance and direction in conversions and new builds to ensure sales processes are in place
Property or regional visits to roll out new brand system standards
Audit of Brand Standards with feedback and guidance to Directors of Sales & Marketing in need areas
Corporate liaison to the Loews Sales and Catering system partners
Manage all interfaces with our systems, working with IT to ensure they are running properly
Brand roll up of Delphi activity
Monitors hotel Delphi usage and ensures standards being adhered to
Monthly hotel report cards and follow up on outstanding items
Manage and communicate all system upgrades and revisions
Ensure all systems are working with the guidelines of the approved corporate and hotel budgets
Monitors and analyzes operation systems and notifies senior leadership of any issues that may impact overall objectives
Coordinates operations systems updates with field
Investigates new operations related technology, as assigned, and coordinated with Corporate IT.
Work with Distribution, Loews Reservations Center, Loews Financial Services Center, Corporate Offices and the Hotel properties maximize efficiencies and use of shared operations systems
Act as the Liaison for Loews to Sales systems partners in all non-technical open tickets
Coordinate and perform yearly Delphi purge and file recovery
Conduct training sessions with key hotel operational departments
Maintain Delphi training materials online in loewsnet with updates distributed from Home Office
Generate Delphi reports as needed
Act as Corporate point of contact for Sales & Catering systems vendors


Required
Demonstrated proficiency in Delphi, Word, Excel, Power Point, Keynote
Thorough knowledge of Delphi SSRS reports, Crystal reports and Market vision reports and how to write them;
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to prioritize
Editing and proof reading


Preferred
Delphi Certification

Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Experience:
Sales leadership experience with 5 years in a sales office environment. Thorough knowledge of Delphi SSRS reports, Crystal reports and Market vision reports and how to write them.

Licenses or Certificates: Delphi Certification (preferred) , SSRS Training

Travel: Ability to travel up to 45% of the year.
