Director Sales Operations dailymotion New York City

Job Description:
Dailymotion is seeking an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Director of Sales and Operations to join our dynamic Sales team in New York! This position supports the Chief Revenue Officer and liaises closely with key internal stakeholders and other sales team members such as an Account Executive and the Director of Client Services. The Director of Sales and Operations will have a strong focus on generating revenues and leads, taking client meetings, and closing partnership deals.

You have a strong understanding of the Digital Advertising Landscape (Agencies, Adverstisers…) with a focus on video (instream, native ads..)

You are comfortable leading and developing a sales team

You are a strategic thinker with proven experience in identifying new business opportunities, having creative ideas and communicating results to management

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- In collaboration with the Chief Revenue Officer, you will help define the sales strategy and drive its execution

- Responsible for setting, tracking and achieving sales revenue goals for US sales staff and US territory

- Drive acquisition of new clients

- Answer RFPs with Custom Ads Solutions

- Manage/forge relevant industry relationships with CMOs and senior advertising experiences

- Mentor, train and improve work output and efficacy of sales personnel

- Oversee client services, ad operations and traffic

- Manage inventory and rate card pricing

- Work with finance to maintain current sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue

- Develop sales operational processes: maintain sales activity reports and CRM database through Salesforce

- Work with finance to formulate sales commission incentives while maintaining target cost of sale

- Assist in the development of corporate goals, objectives, prioritization and other substansive activities as we may decide
Desired Skills and Experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- 5+ years of advertising/marketing sales experience, and 3+ years of management

- Experience leading and developing sales teams at consumer facing digital brands

- Self-motivated, disciplined, entrepreneurial and energetic

- Excellent problem solving, negotiating, and communication skills

- Proven experience with online advertising, marketing, sales concepts and metrics.
