We are seeking a Director of Product Management for our Trading division. This individual will manage a team of product managers that are responsible for the strategic, market facing, and technical aspects of product management for our highly successful and growing SaaS (Software as a Service) products serving the commodity markets. We are looking for an energized professional with a strong refined fuels commodity and trading background, big-picture vision, and the ability to lead teams to deliver products to market.
Developing product strategy, business case, and product roadmaps
Ensuring the division has a well balanced product portfolio that both meets near term revenue and margin objectives and long term growth objectives
Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to collaborating with development, marketing, and sales to create and bring new products and features to market
Driving R&D priorities and budget to meet release commitments and medium and long term goals
Developing product positioning and messaging to support marketing efforts
Communicating product value proposition to the sales team and developing sales tools to support the selling process
Identifying and analyzing potential partner relationships and M&A opportunities
Qualifications
At a minimum one of the following are required:
Skilled at understanding customers’ key business problems and identifying solutions to solve them
Trading or commodity experience preferred.
5+ years experience in product management in SaaS based environment
Proven ability to lead a team of professionals and drive results through cross-functional teams
Technology background, preferably in business software
BA/BS degree in business, computer science or related technical field is preferred. MBA is a plus.
