Job Description:
In this role, you will drive Spirent's growth in a market undergoing rapid technology change and business transformation. Spirent's Service Assurance business is evolving rapidly to address the many new opportunities created as telecommunication services become available anytime and anywhere. As the Product Director you will lead a team of dedicated people responsible for growing and transforming our Network and Service Assurance solutions to meet the needs of cloud-based, virtualized and on-demand networks of the future.
This position is ideal for a creative, problem solver and business leader with product line management experience who is excited by exceeding customer expectations and driving business growth. Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with customers and Sales to understand the business problem and define the product strategy.
Develop market requirements based on customers' business challenges, technology evolution, market analysis, competition, users, and technology.
Communicate product strategy internally and externally.
Define and manage the execution of the positioning and communication plan, the product roadmap, and the go-to-market plan.
Proactively engage with customers to understand market requirements and to demonstrate thought-leadership.

Desired Skills and Experience
Job Requirements:
BSEE/BSCE with 10 years of relevant and practical experience, MSEE/MSCE with 6 years of relevant and practical experience
At least 5+ years of business and commercial experience - MBA, or similar, desired.
Prior product management experience with Service Providers or MSOs is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and business success.
Knowledge and expertise of telecommunications principles, protocols, and business-practice is required.
Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills are required, coupled with great people skills and a positive attitude.
