Job Description:
We are searching for a dynamic leader and hands on innovation driver to lead a team of engineers to delight our customers and drive innovative technologies into our products. The right candidate for this role will need to be able to serve in a dual role. They will need to function in both a Software Director and innovation leader. This person will manage a team that is responsible for delivering innovative, best in class/differentiating technologies across the product portfolio. Must be hands on developer/architect but also able to present to executives and lead a team of talented engineers.

Must be experience with leading/driving cross organizational initiatives with a proven track record. Must be able to see the big picture and build solutions to exceed the organizations expectations. You will develop POCs (Proof of Concepts) and drive these solutions to market.

Experience
Expert knowledge of systems design including HW, FW and Software/Drivers.
Experience with embedded controllers and integration into system designs
Hands on experience with doing Proof of Concepts and developing/delivering these into products
Exceptional presentation skills and negotiation skills
Experience presenting to executives
Proven track record of driving technologies and creating/delivering innovation
Leading development teams to deliver multiple facet solutions
Driving product roadmaps
Influencing others to successfully gain alignment and adoption of technologies, solutions and ideas
Successfully delivering of large scale SW, FW and/or Embedded solutions

Requirements
Minimal of 5 years leadership experience
Minimal of 10 years BIOS/UEFI hands on development
Minimal of 15 years combined experience in the technology industry… combined experience as an engineer, architect and leader
Experience is designing solutions and defining customer experiences not just application development
Experience in top to bottom application/driver/FW design and development
Experience with delivering solutions that include HW, FW, Software and Drivers
Expert level programmer with experience in C/C++ and Embedded Controllers
Preferences
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field
Expert in UEFI development and Architecture
