Senior Director Implementation Project National Financial Fidelity Investments Jersey City

Job Description:
The National Financial Implementation Group (Client Integration) has an opportunity for a Senior Director level Project Manager in our Jersey City, NJ, Smithfield, RI or Westlake, TX locations.
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supporting projects and events for NF Broker Dealers transitioning to the NF platform, and manage cross functional teams during the implementation process.

This individual will act as liaison between the Broker Dealer and Fidelity Institutional business partners to facilitate the onboarding of each firm. The individual must also work closely with the NF Sales and Relationship Management teams and be able to multi-task and work effectively with all levels of management.


Primary Responsibilities
Accurately lead or support implementation projects from inception to completion while managing realistic, workable project plans and timelines with multiple deadlines.
Provide central leadership for the planning, management, and execution during the implementation process.
Organize and conduct project status meetings, including communicating project status to internal management, Fidelity business partners, outside vendors and the correspondent.
Maintain detailed project plan and action items / issues list throughout each project, while also documenting requirements and addressing operational process issues to accomplish business objectives while also addressing any required scope changes and their impact to planned deliverables.
Coordinate the ongoing back office support through OSG, including Margin, Treasury, Risk, P&S and Retirement Departments
Effectively prioritize workload based on urgency, importance, and client expectations. Lead the team to meet deadlines.
Responsible for managing, tracking and reporting, both written and verbal program updates, and reporting / communicate project risks that could prevent a successful implementation; participate in solution.
Lead discussions for critical path components that impact live dates.
Engage appropriate business partners / program stakeholders in program development efforts.
Recommend and execute improvements to current processes and procedures.
Build effective lines of communication with remote clients and team members, ensuring consistency and “Best in Class” customer service.
Other Departmental Support Functions
Be able to identify key driver, key integration risks and complexity factors, in addition to offering solutions for differences in operational or service models due to changes in clearing platforms.
Offer suggestions on best practices for both NF operational and product capabilities to ensure an effective transition to the NF platform.
Act as lead to share trends and observations with functional leaders around process improvement opportunities that would benefit future client needs and create more effective and efficient implementations.
Proactively maintain product and service industry knowledge, product and operations expertise and provide input to future product and service enhancements.
Excellent communication skills including proposal/presentation development and delivery, and meeting facilitation.
Strong interpersonal and organization skills including the ability to manage by influence.
Strong organizational leadership capabilities, ability to provide a balance of strategic direction and results oriented delivery.
Strong personal management skills, ability to multi-task across multiple large initiatives, flexibility in managing changing priorities.
Desired Skills and Experience
Education and Experience
Series 7 & 63 preferred (must obtain within 90 days)
Bachelors' degree required
Minimum of 10+ years of brokerage experience
Strong knowledge of financial services products and related technology
Project Management experience required
