This individual leads a team that creates and delivers excellence in representative programs, communications, and marketing. Additionally, this position oversees Questar's product platform and executing the core product strategy. Position requires significant industry experience, knowledge of broker-dealers, and an understanding of the distribution and sales process. This position leads the development of memorable events impacting sales, representative growth and retention, while providing education and allowing Questar to deepen relationships with the representatives.
The individual will collaborate to establish strategic plans and execute comprehensive marketing plans, including branding, materials, communications, and events. The position leads a team responsible for product due diligence, sales agreement management, and strategic partner relationships. Provides frequent and ongoing communications regarding sales numbers, product updates, policy, and competitive intelligence as it relates to the Questar Core Product Strategy.
Description
Representative Program Development and Branding - Define the annual and long term marketing strategy for Representative Development. Collaborate with Marketing and Distribution partners to develop and deliver development programs designed to motivate representatives and impact sales. Key role in understanding the market and competition to maximize our programs. Understands, communicates, and implements industry trends in programs. Constantly looks for ways to enhance the delivery of events and information. Strong partner with Distribution Training and Meeting and Event Services within Allianz to leverage knowledge and ideas. Solicits feedback from the field representatives to improve future events. Marketing and Branding - Oversee the development and planning for marketing deliverables, including recruiting materials, trade advertising, and all external facing branding. Must maintain and protect the Questar brand across all marketing materials and mediums. Ensures all materials, communications, and website are aligned with tone, information, and branding. Communications - Establish and execute communication processes and protocols across the firm to ensure timely receipt, prioritization, and follow-up for informal and formal communications. Oversees the management of information and development for the Questar website. Collaborates with recruiting team to develop necessary recruiting pieces and campaigns to drive results.Manages Product Platform - Provides frequent and ongoing communications regarding sales numbers, product updates, policy, and competitive intelligence as it relates to the Questar Core Product Strategy. Responsible for developing communications, presentations, and monthly reviews for product platform and strategic partner relationships. Leads a team responsible for product due diligence, managing sales agreements, and the strategic partner program. Ongoing management of partner relationships and associated financial performance. Identifies additional opportunities for strategic partner relationships, design and work with team to implement programs and tools that facilitate delivery of strategic partner messaging and additional opportunities to deepen their relationships with advisors. Collaborate with departments across the firm on product strategy. Works closely with Communications and Sales Department for product launches, changes, and updates. Product Due Diligence and Approvals - Leads Product Review Committee meetings, delivers competitive intelligence, establishes process and protocols for committee meetings.
Leadership - Demonstrate strong positive leadership, supporting the growth and development of associates within the department. Develop team members through coaching, leading and mentoring. Contribute to enterprise-wide projects as needed. Actively participates in corporate programs and initiatives. Serves as a strong role model within the organization.
