•Conduct epidemiological analysis for signal evaluation and interpretation
•Prepare the epidemiologic section of the Risk Management Plan(s) pertaining to drug safety
Protection of patients' safety and reduction of risks to patients who use sanofi-aventis

Management Of Epidemiological Data
Identify and determine efficient epidemiological data sources relevant for the questions being
investigated. Drug safety issues are addressed in the most cost-efficient, scientifically sound,
and timely fashion.
Epidemiological Expert
Be a point of contact for epidemiological support in company notably for the GSO and the
RMP Manager. In house epidemiological expertise to adequately address clinical queries from
regulators, healthcare providers, and company colleagues.
Intelligence
For new databases and quering tools
In depth knowledge of pharmacoepidemiology methodologies and data sources
Capability to clearly communicate complex epidemiologic issues to both the scientific
community and the general public.
Demonstrated ability to formulate investigative plan and capability to work in crisis
situations.
Teamwork and interpersonal skills and proven management skills.
Fluent in English

Basic Qualifications
M.D. with graduate training in epidemiology, or Ph.D. or Sc.D. from an accredited
graduate department of epidemiology with good knowledge in medicine.
Epidemiologic research experience in industry (or equivalent drug safety
epidemiological research experience in collaboration with industry).
Written and verbal communication proficiency, including the presentation of data.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of statistics
Experience in using large databases for pharmacoepidemiological studies.
Publication experience in peer-reviewed journals
