Job Description:
As Director of Sales for Application Delivery at CA, you will be responsible for team of talented sales professionals who are inspiring customers to transform their organization to deliver innovation to market faster and with higher quality. This is more than sales. This is about leading organizations to understand how DevOps can help them compete in today’s application economy.

How You Will Stand Out

The perfect candidate for the role will be the key leader of the Application Delivery team, responsible to plan, execute, monitor, and direct a sales team's performance and resource allocation needs within the Southeast territory. This involves ensuring the team effectively achieves sales revenue targets and drives new business, builds excellent customer loyalty, ensures high product retention rates, and supports and promotes CA strategy and initiatives.
Have a passion for leading and motivating the sales team to achieve financial and strategic business goals, within the industry.
Hold sales revenue quota for one or more routes to market or business models for a defined territory.
Committed to provide regular pipeline forecasts and business health checks to senior sales management.
Act as an industry evangelist, thought leader, and go-to person within CA Technologies.
Develop compelling business value proposals for our solutions and ultimately closing business.
Empower and encourage the sales team to grow, train, and develop their business skills where needed.
Ensure thorough resources, planning and time management is in place so that existing opportunities are properly staffed and has scale and skill sets to support sales opportunities.
Show resilience and conduct quarterly business reviews and planning sessions with customers.
Work with your internal network and engage with Field Marketing, regional counterparts in Inside Sales to identify opportunities supporting CA Technologies' strategy.
Understand CA Technologies' vision, strategy and key customer initiatives; support sales teams to ensure that customers in the region are consistently kept informed.

Requirements for Success
Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in Marketing, Information Technology, a business discipline or related field. An MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
10 + years of direct sales management experience working with enterprise software products (preferably Service Virtualization and/or Release Automation)
Proven track record of effectively and successfully managing a large sales team’s performance.
Demonstrated ability to assess customer requirements, identify business problems, and demonstrate proposed solutions to a C-level audience.
Candidates with experience to develop this industry from scratch will be considered favorably.
