Job Description:
As the Director of Sales, you will report to the Sr. Director of Advertising and use your 6+ years’ experience in digital advertising to successfully grow the revenue of Quidsi’s advertising products. This role requires close partnership with Amazon’s Advertising Sales team and Quidsi’s product teams, as you will be tasked with being our resident expert and providing solutions to improve on our advertising experience. You will take the lead in developing and strengthening Quidsi’s relationships with digital agencies and clients while hitting your personal business targets. A proven self-starter with strong interpersonal, project management and analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to identify and craft new business opportunities, you will play a key role in making our advertising products as invaluable to advertisers as our ecommerce solutions have been for retailers
You will also be focused on uncovering new revenue opportunities through new and innovative partnerships and business development opportunities.
Responsibilities
Work cross-functionally with Quidsi retail teams and Amazon account executives to build strategic Quidsi advertising initiatives for key partners
Drive advertising product enhancements based on client/partner feedback and industry trends
Build effective and efficient media plans
Drive strategy, project management, implementation, prioritization, and planning for our advertising programs.
Uncover new revenue channels for Quidsi through analyzing market trends and partnership
• 6+ year experience in a digital sales role, proven track record of success
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Experience working in any of following: managing media campaigns or media planning or working in a sales planning capacity or working on campaign optimizations or experience working in a similar function to any of these listed.
