Job Description:
Thomson Reuters is currently seeking a sales professional to join their ONESOURCE Transfer Pricing team. The position offers the perfect balance of running a sales force, managing channel partners and actively contributing to the development of the software. Using a team approach, the Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales activity for the ONESOURCE Operational Transfer Pricing within North America. The Manager will cover U.S. sales activities occasionally interacting with other sales managers around the world on global deals. The Manager works collaboratively with the Account Managers, Sales Support, Solution Consultant, Product Management, Marketing and Software Development teams worldwide to develop the sales strategy for maximizing sales across the customer base. He/she plays an active role in creating the structure to support proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing the deal. Compensation includes base salary with commissions based on individual and team performance.
Successful Sales are goal-oriented and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team. They are persuasive, empathetic and able to generate enthusiasm with clients and their sales team. They need excellent business acumen to accurately assess clients' issues and develop "outside the box" solutions. The job requires the ability to work with a sense of urgency while juggling multiple opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Also Include
Oversight of Account Management of existing and new Operational Transfer Pricing clients
Continue to develop and improve "Go-to-Market Strategy" and Value Proposition as we expand into adjacent markets
Strong Client relationship and business development skills
Strong business and technical acumen with a good understanding of the market drivers and company strategies
Provide field presence as appropriate to expand opportunities
Assist with content development as appropriate for sales team
Develop Account Management team in a strategic and consultative selling and business development capacity.
Coordinate the activity of the Operational Transfer Pricing team in the sales process among multiple business units.
Assist and coordinate with marketing to support messaging

Position Requirements
Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of software and services solution selling experience and at least two (2) years of sales management experience
Experience in selling enterprise solutions to corporations, including working across boundaries between business, executives & IT in customer environment.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment able to manage ambiguity and change while partnering with teammates at all levels to deliver value to clients
Will manage and lead the daily activities of Account Managers.
A strategic thinker – able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) and influence both C- suite and Senior Executives
Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota
Demonstrable aptitude for sales presentation and demonstration skills
Prior experience with developing new sales channels and new vertical market technology solutions
Experience with contract negotiations and budget management.
Ability to travel (including overnight travel) a minimum of 30%
Bachelors degree required, MBA and or CPA desired
