Job Description:
Twitter seeks a Director of Product Marketing to lead a build and lead team that will grow awareness and adoption of Twitter’s Brand advertising and Off-Twitter products. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing area and help continue Twitter’s strong momentum with brands, advertisers, and agencies globally.
You’ll be a strategic partner to the product team, guiding and influencing product direction, which is fast evolving, based not only based on deep customer, product, competitor, and market insights, but also on what makes Twitter uniquely different. You’ll guide your team to develop go-to-market vision, strategy, and success metrics for new features and product marketing programs that scale globally through sales teams, agencies, as well as through direct marketing. Most importantly, you’ll develop new and innovative ways to showcase the power of Brand Ads and Off-Twitter products (like the Twitter Publisher Network) - whether that’s through new creative formats, unique targeting opportunities, more effective measurement and KPIs across TV and mobile.

This role reports directly to our Global Head of Product Marketing and will require working jointly with Product, Design, Sales, and Engineering teams. Successful candidates for this role will have digital advertising industry experience and deep knowledge of the digital display advertising ecosystem. The successful candidate will need to be flexible, adapt with the changing requirements of the team and products, and help establish clear boundaries, deliverables, and metrics for the role.



As a Key Member Of Our Team, You Will Work Closely With Various Partners Across Twitter. In This Role, You Will Be Expected To
Develop a compelling vision and strategic product marketing roadmap for brand advertising and Off-Twitter products
Work collaboratively across the company to craft the messaging strategy for key Twitter products and services
Communicate product vision and priorities to internal and external stakeholders.
Lead the development of amazing product marketing communications for our business users and advertising clients in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders including product, engineering, design, and sales.
Manage and coach a team of product marketing managers who will be responsible for individual product lines within your area.
Work effectively in a heavily cross functional, fast-paced environment, especially working across our product, sales teams,, creative teams, and with external agencies.


Requirements
Deep understanding of online advertising, particularly with brand products (brand measurement, homepage takeovers, rich media). Brand marketing experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree minimum
15+ years of work experience overall
Experience working with product management, engineering, and sales organizations
Ability to handle the pace and ambiguity that comes with working in a start-up environment
Critical thinker who is motivated to seek data to inform his or her work
Passion for Twitter, storytelling, the customer, market dynamics and opportunities
