Fidelity’s Corporate Technology Group (CTG) is seeking a highly skilled IT Product Manager which will be based out of our Covington, KY (Cincinnati) campus. The role is accountable to manage a diverse IT product portfolio focused on delivering and supporting enterprise and business-unit specific content management solutions. Key aspects of this role include managing relationships with internal business partners across Fidelity; being able to communicate and demonstrate product features and services; managing associated product backlog; and releasing work to the product development and delivery teams to deliver associated solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
People Management
Typically manages 1-3 associates focused on assisting with product analysis work
Manages performance for directly managed associates and provides feedback on product related associates
Needs to work with both US based and off shore based teams and associates
Functional/Technical Management
Applies technologies, methods and concepts to maximize functional/operational capabilities while optimizing the use of resources
Ensures effective use of technology vendors and internal Fidelity technology business partners. Stays abreast of technology innovations and recommends applicability to the business
Manages product backlog and grooming to feed product release development and delivery
Relationship Management
Ensures all customer/client needs are met and/or issues are resolved or addressed
Oversees ongoing internal and external relationships
Financial Management
Provides accountability for the financial management/budgeting process for the IT product
Formulates budgetary recommendations according to business unit requirements and guidelines
