Job Description:
The Corporate Marketing team is responsible for creating marketing strategies and promotional initiatives designed to drive corporate revenues across Dow Jones
Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Marketing, the Director,Demand Generation will lead the demand generation program strategy, team, and programs that includes traditional and digital media, sales lead generation, campaign strategy, and execution
Work closely with marketing managers to apply response analysis and best practices to optimize all aspects of demand generation campaigns to drive accountable lifts in revenue
Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of media campaigns in an effort to maximize results and ROI
Manages demand creation budgets and allocation of media to meet financial goals and objectives
Partner with agencies and external partners to create and drive new campaigns and creative requirements to generate more efficient demand.
Build business cases to aggressively explore and test new go-to-market channels to generate high quality leads for sales
What do you need from me?
7+ years of acquisition B2B marketing experience
Advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing automation, demand generation, and rules-based lead nurturing
Strong analytic capability
Demonstrated proficiency with multiple formats of demand generation, including, but not limited to email, website, PPC, SEO, Social, direct mail and telemarketing
Experience executing lead scoring and nurturing programs
Experience with database management functions, including list management, cleansing, de-duplication, data validation, segmentation, tagging, custom report creation and import/export of CRM data
Experience with targeting, segmenting and profiling of prospects and customers
Experience writing and presenting ROI-driven marketing campaign plans
Solid communication skills - both written and oral
Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills
Bachelors degree
