In this role you will help TripAdvisor define and develop systems that deliver high-quality subscription and transaction products to travel-related business around the globe. Using your deep knowledge of billing and payments systems, define and implement quality applications for stakeholders in Finance and Accounting. Build systems that allow our worldwide sales force to work as efficiently as possible to help our industry take advantage of TripAdvisor’s business offerings.

Responsibilities…
Work from business requirements to development using Agile deployment methodology
SQL database design, development, and testing of SQL applications including stored procedures, functions, triggers, tables, tuning
Manage, support and provide enhancements and integration for the TripAdvisor Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment including APEX code, Visual force pages, custom objects, administration, and security
Manage, support, and provide enhancements and integration for the TripAdvisor Zoura billing system including new features, upgrades, and custom code
Support data integration to reporting and Business Intelligence platforms as well as other systems such as Exactly
Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise with any related tools / solutions
Qualifications…
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
8+ years’ experience with CRM and Accounting systems
8+ years’ experience with data integration
Demonstrated experience:
Supporting a Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment. Strong knowledge of the Salesforce.com data model and data/process flow including accounts, opportunities, leads, custom object as well as APEX, Triggers, and Visual force.
Providing application integration and data mapping using: XML, cXML, SOAP, SFDC API, APEX, Data loader, and Web Service/SOA Technologies
4+ years’ experience in a business System analysis/development role
SQL Server database experience
Advanced knowledge of database design fundamentals and normalization principles
2+ years experience supporting a SAAS based billing system. Zoura preferred
6+ years working in Linux
Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, PL/SQL including transactions, begin, try, merge, common table expressions, ROW_NUMBER/OVER, bulk insert
Must be able to work independently and meet required deadlines
Experience supporting integration to BI platforms such as Oracle Discoverer, Tableau or Birst a plus
