Job Description:
The Global Business Marketing group is looking for an Executive Creative Director to lead all of our creative functions – brand design, digital design, event design, presentation design, video, and copywriting. We need a player/coach, sinner/saint, monk/assassin who can not only lead and mentor our creative talent but who is also willing to get their hands dirty doing the work. Someone who’s up to the challenge of telling the evolving Facebook story out to the market in the most compelling and surprising ways possible. With a diverse set of customers – brands, agencies, small businesses, and partners, the diversity of work – and possibilities – is extensive. You’ll be neck deep in projects that span print, digital, video and experiential marketing with a global audience as your playground. Ideal candidates should be natural leaders with a well-rounded marketing/advertising agency background skewing heavily into the realms of digital and campaign work.
You will work with a highly cross-functional team of marketers, product leaders, technologists, and business leaders, all working together to bring our ideas to life. And, in between it all, you’ll coach and mentor the creative team to produce work they’ve never imagined. Contenders will interview with a variety of our cross-functional team members and will be expected to give a portfolio and POV presentation with accompanying Q&A.
Responsibilities
Lead team of copywriters, designers, and video producers to build inspiring work that drives business results
Oversee all creative work and concepting across the team
Work with cross functional teams to ensure all work is consistent with Facebook brand
Collaborate with design departments, product managers, marketing leads, and business owners to build work that inspires our customers – brands, agencies, SMBs, and partners.
Requirements
10+ years of agency experience
5+ years experience leading and mentoring creative teams
A diverse portfolio of marketing work with a variety of industries
Proven experience conceptualizing ideas from ideation to launch
Experience in digital, print, video and experiential
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
