Job Description:
Responsibilities•Plan and execute promotional events for national/local accounts. Manage all the logistics for the events including permits, rentals, booking talent, vendors, security and staff.
•Work closely with production and traffic on the production of promotional spots.
•Oversee all station contests, including the screening of entries, winner selection, obtaining release forms, and prize distribution.
•Develop and execute annual promotional strategy to include promotional calendar to enhance client, sales, and viewer engagement.
•Responsible for maintaining premium inventory as well as reordering premiums and promotional items as needed
•Create and maintain community calendar both on air and on line.
•Oversee the production and scheduling of news promos.
•Manage localization and distribution of network promo feeds for TV and radio.
•Actively seek to create strategic alliances with area organizations to create marketing opportunity partnerships.
Qualifications
•Work closely with the sales team to create and execute sales promotions and sponsorship packages. Qualifications/Requirements•Candidate must have excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word. •Photoshop experience is a plus.
•Extensive knowledge of the Hispanic market and fluency in written and spoken Spanish required.
•BA in marketing or equivalent is desired.
