The Director of Global IS Sourcing will be responsible for leading a team in the development of an IS supplier strategy and then in the execution of that strategy for well over $200M annual spend. Execution includes everything from leading the sourcing and supplier selection process to leading resolution of disputes. This position will require a significant amount of interface with Ingram Micro EVP leadership. This position will also be responsible to manage the relationship with Ingram Micro's largest indirect suppliers. A deep understanding of the IS industry and function is required for this person to be effective and have credibility with the suppliers as well as our internal leadership.
Requirements
Education:
BS degree required; MBA preferred
Experience:
Ten years of IS experience with 2-5 years managing a team. Must have strong knowledge of sourcing process, negotiation strategy, basic contract elements and structure, supplier relationship management. Requires skill in:
Program management and analytical skills. Must be able to lead a team, drive conflicting goals to consensus, and possess a strong executive presence.
