• Collaborating across Geographies, sharing and adopting industry leading practices.
• Leading the charge across the EM Geography to ensure policies and controls align with Compliance and Controlling and we adhere to a robust governance and accountability process.
• Managing all aspects of receivables and credit risk management in excess of $1 billion spread across multiple countries, legal entities and currencies.
• Being a valued business advisor -- growing and developing partnerships with key Geography and Territory leaders cross-functionally, including Commerce, Supply Chain and Finance functions to fully understand their business and the interconnection with ours.
• Amplifying the Voice of the Customer by developing strong business relationships with key retail partners in each territory as needed to leverage and protect Nike’s AR asset and support brand growth strategies.
• Supporting the broader Geography leadership team in decision making, offering perspectives, guidance and recommendations to improve portfolio health and performance.
• Modeling and coaching LEAN techniques and language across the EM Geography related to the O2C Operations function.
• Being a Senior Leader within the Emerging Markets Finance Leadership Team, actively offering suggestions to achieve team-success, taking the initiative to get things done and following through on commitments.
• Being an effective leader of people and an eager change agent. You will need a strategic mindset, a bias toward action and a commitment to execution.
• Partnering with the wholesale accounting team to ensure appropriate and consistent accounting treatment for everything that hits the AR sub-ledger, including all judgmental reserves.
