Director Co-Brand Relationship Visa Foster City

Job Description:
Visa is seeking a payments professional to join the US Partnership Development team. The Director Cobrand Partnership Solutions will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and partnership initiatives to support Visa's co-brand partner business with select retail merchant cobrand partners. Specific responsibilities will include working with the cobrand AEs to develop and execute market insight, analytics and marketing plans to support cobrand contractual requirements, deepening partnership engagement and working with the cobrand AE to optimize portfolio performance.
The position will also work closely with various internal departments and external merchant and Financial Institution partners to ensure appropriate communication flow.
The Director position will be based in Visa's Foster City office and report up through the Partnership Development Co-brand Partnership Solutions Team.

Responsibilities

Support Account Executives managing select Retail cobrand partnership accounts, by managing the cobrand marketing contractual obligations.
Work with the cobrand Account Executive and cobrand Retail partner to develop annual marketing plans, provide quarterly cobrand marketing updates on implementation progress, and develop annual marketing showcase of client work and results.
Where applicable develop case studies for internal use.
Be accountable for all cobrand and non-cobrand related marketing insight, analytics and marketing activities and marketing-related contractual commitments.
Help to develop marketing strategies, and implement comprehensive marketing plans for Visa activities with the assigned cobrand Retail accounts in conjunction with the Visa Account Executive and all key external and internal stakeholders.
Manage detailed marketing programs from concept through execution (and results)•Collaborate with key internal Visa partners - including Data Analytics, Loyalty, Legal, Product, Marketing, Financial Institution Sales and Merchant Sales

Qualifications

Relevant Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred.
Payments industry knowledge; Minimum of 12+ years overall experience, 5-7 years Marketing experience with related payment, retail and / or co-brand marketing experience.
Proven ability to implement marketing programs, manage marketing agencies, and develop timelines a must!
Must be extremely detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Marketing agency, consulting and client management experience a plus
Ability to manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of success/ achievement.
Proficiency in English.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and SalesForce
Ability to travel 20% of the time
