Job Description:
The Region Automotive Director will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Region Automotive Sales Team, oversee operations to ensure overall category sales increase through development of goals and strategies, and ensure budget attainment across Tier 2 and Tier 3 automotive clients. The Region Automotive Director will also work in coordination with the Division Automotive Director and Division Business Partners in the areas of business development, sales strategy, functional strategy, and operational procedure for the Automotive Category.
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall Region automotive strategy
Responsible for overall ad sales volume and identifying new opportunities as well as account development strategy impacting Tier 2 and Tier 3 automotive business
Coordinate strategy, execution and collaboration between Tier 2 and Tier 3 automotive business
Oversight of all automotive strategies impacting accounts, brands and ownership groups within the Region
Execute on strategies and initiatives that align with Corporate and Division direction
Develop automotive sales metrics that align to Region and Division goals, ensuring budget achievement
Develop Region automotive budget
Develop comprehensive Region automotive forecasting tool
Develop and deploy, in conjunction with business partners, creative advertising packages that are brand and/or category specific
Remain current to automotive category trends impacting all facets of the sales funnel
Monitors the markets as well competitors' new or changing product and service offerings and utilizes competitive reports to support sales strategy i.e. Kantar, Polk, Rhiza
Coordinate with Division training initiatives and develop specific training programs based on Region's unique needs
Maximize available tools and resources for both Spot and Digital, that support new business and account development strategies to include sponsorship opportunities, custom packages, promotions and post-performance analysis
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters
of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work
nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Generally requires 9+ years related experience in Media, Advertising Sales, Automotive
