Job Description
As the Director of Strategy & Testing in Group Decision Science, you'll be part of a team that is responsible for deriving unique insights from unconventional data sources in order to develop a competitive strategy for expanding our business globally. You will be exposed to a range of international lending products, interacting with culturally and geographically diverse business partners, managing all aspects of the credit and financial management cycle and identifying key learnings that can be applied across different sectors.
Your role
Creating and managing strategies that support the mission of financial inclusion while driving bottom line growth and profitability for the group
Developing product designs for a wide array of financial services products across multiple markets including articulation of value propositions, and analysis and modelling of financials
Drive stable credit performance in the portfolio by basing decisions on a foundation of novel structural insights; perform analysis using best-in-class techniques to optimize policies, rules and decisions at each stage of the customer life cycle
Leading a small team; provide coaching and mentoring across the organization to support development of talent
Participating as a key stakeholder in the development and deployment of next generation models, scorecards, customer segmentation schemes, expert rules and other types of decision analytics to detect risks and improve returns by leveraging advanced statistical techniques and expert-based methodologies
Developing and executing test strategies and rapidly adjusting course in order to achieve business outcomes
Partnering with business leaders across the organisation in multiple countries to drive results
Some international travel is required
You will bring

Your qualifications
Bachelor's degree (required) or advanced degree (preferred) in Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Operations Research, Econometrics or related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in Consumer financial services analytics including experience in the following: developing and managing credit policies, marketing optimization, quantitative analysis, product development and P&L management
2 years experience in Management Consulting (preferred)
2 years experience in People Management
