Director Sales Systems Integrators Tata Communications Burlingame

Job Description
The Director - Sales SI is accountable for the acquisition of new strategic accounts utilizing their established relationships within System Integrators by selling to and through their clientele. They will be responsible for significantly contributing to TATA COMMUNICATIONS revenue growth. The position requires high level positioning and identification of strategic business opportunities and applications utilizing the portfolio of TATA COMMUNICATIONS services and products. Primary emphasis will be on developing existing relationships with SI, as well as becoming a preferred provider for all of our IT Solutions. .

Key Responsibilities

The Director - Sales SI will focus on an assigned and acquiring new business to and through partnerships for a regional territory consisting of approximately 50 Global 500 and Fortune 500 accounts.

· Implement the sales strategy to ensure that sales targets are met or exceeds the market place

· Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients by the use of networks and utilization of networking channels

· B2B solution selling

· Foresee an opportunity and provide an advance disruptive solution where a target account demands are emerging

· Create and maintain a high profile presences in the market place by creating win-win solutions with customers and partners to create and sustain long-term relationships

· Balance sales activities on all selected accounts by leveraging all assigned resources and partners to be able to provide optimal services. Including partner campaigns

· Business Planning and Reporting, by providing accurate sales monthly forecast, weekly commits, and pipeline development align with business objectives

· Be able to place a premium on a customer’s agility

· Efficient and timely communication with internal business partners by participating in Corporate and regional conference calls, and meetings

Requirement

· Proven track record in identifying c-level organizational challenges and providing disruptive solutions

· Ability to address critical business problems and provide a solution to resolve or eliminate the issue

· Demonstrate track record of successful sales in the UCC/Data/Networking industry

· Ability to network within a customer and partner organization to identify all key influence and decision makers

· Has successfully sold IT Solutions (i.e. cloud solutions, managed security solutions, UCC, Hosted Content Systems, Mobility Services and etc.

· Excellent negotiation skills

· Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications



Preferred

· A candidate that has a combination of sales and sales engineer background

· Formal Training in Sales Techniques

· Education to degree level
