Job Description
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Accountable for all customer interfaces (OEM, CBU, Tier 1's, etc.) which includes sales support and implementation.
Determines the direction for OEM's future growth by maintaining and enhancing existing programs and building new business
Apply and implement extensive expertise and advanced knowledge in selling total solutions that bolsters competitive advantage.
Develops and maintains industry relationships which provide opportunities for new business developments.
Focuses on collaborative solutions-focused sales behaviors that result in improved overall sales
Expand the addressable market by driving sales of new products to the customer.
Evaluates and suggests high-level recommendations and improvements to optimize customer's current technology needs and enhance their business processes.
Identifies prepares and positions appropriate JCI technical expertise with customers.
Manage profitability and sales budget thereby meeting sales objectives and strategic plans.
Maintain overhead systems targeted business list.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Automotive E&I
Relevant automotive sales experience (10 years minimum required)
Relevant staff leadership experience is required (5 years). A record of formal leadership/management training is highly desirable
Possess high degree of integrity and moral character.
Requires an understanding of the OEM's long term business and market requirements.
Strong understanding of automotive global products, manufacturing plants, and processes.
Well versed in financials (i.e. ROS/IRR/Cash flows/etc.)
Proficient in MS Word and Power Point
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
Possess versatile, flexible attitude and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
Well-developed negotiation, project and account management skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written form.
Excellent problem solving skills are required, including experience preparing problem solving documents such as 8D’s
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution or replaced by commensurate experience. An MBA is a plus.
