Job Description
This position is to be based in New York; however we may be flexible on the work location throughout the United States. The purpose of the position is to grow the Material Solutions (and Technology Solutions) by providing leadership in the sales & marketing efforts associated with the products and services of the division. You will be responsible for the products and services provided to customers, including Contract Fleet Management services, Overhaul and new services as they are launched.
In Your Role You Will
•Establish strong relationship with Customer base and expand the current Customer base;
•Responsible for Customer commitments and deliverables;
•Hold periodic senior management meetings with Customer to review Monitor specific KPI’s (OTD etc..) and drive action plans to achieve best in class performance;
•Work with Sales Account Managers to define and implement Customer Specific Strategy and Sales Plan;
•Identify sales opportunities for Products and Services of the Division;
•Increase sales at key accounts by influencing RFPs prior to their release by prospective Clients;
•Provide leadership working with clients on promoting the Products & Services of the Division;
•Assess the strengths and weaknesses of competitors in the region and present the advantages of the BTNA Services offering to prospective Clients;
•Prepare reports, business case, and recommendations and white books for developing opportunities in the market.
As Our Ideal Candidate
• You hold a Bachelor's degree or an MBA; Bachelor’s degree in engineering will be considered as an asset;
• You possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in a similar position;
• You have a solid experience and an extensive network in the rail industry;
• You have excellent English communications skills (written and spoken);
• You have good analytical thinking skills, and an ability to influence internal and external stakeholders;
• You must be available to travel domestically and internationally.
