Moodys Analytics Stress testing group is seeking a highly motivated and self-sufficient leader to help propel our department into the future of web technologies. Reporting to the Head of Stress Testing engineering, qualified candidates will have both strong communication skills and exceptional technical skills to guide global teams of developers to use best practices as well as facilitating communication between our Product Development, Program and Product Management, and User Experience teams.
Responsibilities • Take a holistic view of ERS Stress Testing Platform from Development perspective • Drive architecture as well as development of the Stress Testing platform • Facilitate or present training sessions on the latest web technologies • Guide product development team in using the latest technologies • Oversee the Product Development processes, best practices and overall code quality • Provide feedback and review code from multiple teams to ensure a high standard of quality • Requires both hands on coding and architecture skills as well as some people management skills Qualifications • Bachelors or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field • Very strong technical background with full stack development and technologies (Java, Spring, Hibernate, iBastis, SQL/NoSQL, Big Data, SaaS, Distributed Computing (Hadoop)) • Strong knowledge of source control systems and best practices (Git, Merging, Branching, Pull Requests, etc.)

• Strong background or understanding of server-side technologies • Excellent communication skills for working with multiple teams • Excellent understanding of open source technologies and how to maintain an open source project Moodys Analytics is rapidly adopting the latest technologies and needs someone to guide our teams into the future.
