Job description
We are currently seeking an exceptional individual passionate about travel, to drive revenue growth by leading our inside and outside sales teams

The Director of Sales has responsibility of the Sales Budget/P&L, revenue forecasting, developing, writing and executing sales plan. The Director of Sales is responsible for the supervision of sales team, trainees, and administrative staff.



Additional responsibilities include the recruitment and hiring of sales staff, training, managing and coaching sales agents in their selling process in order to meet company goals and maximize revenues. Developing and implementing a sales incentive plan that drives production and incents desired sales behavior. Monitor progress against plans, objectives and quotas and provide course correction for individual sales members and group to achieve success. Collaborating with sales, marketing, product team members and external partners to coordinate and grow revenue within each segment.

Must be proficient in general computer knowledge and able to train and monitor home based sales teams.

The Director of Sales will report directly to the Vice President/General Manager, communication and organizational skills are of the utmost importance.

Qualifications
At least 3-5+ years in a sales leadership position managing a group of sales agents in a fast paced ecommerce company.
Minimum of 7+ years of travel industry experience.
Proven negotiation and closing skills including the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and think out of the box, as necessary.
Proven record of exceeding established revenue quotas.
Established industry contacts and relationships are highly desired.
Awareness and experience with the following applications/technologies - Salesforce, video conferencing, VoIP Call Center is helpful.
Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and maintain employee, vendor and customer relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to professionally present to all levels within an organization
Results-focused, team-oriented, self-motivated and a strong work ethic
BS/BA in a related field or equivalent experience required.
