Director - Retirement Programs - Fidelity Investments - Providence


Job description
The primary focus of the Director will be to lead the development of a strategy and the tactics for growing our Retirement Transfer of Assets (TOA)- In business. This includes industry and competitor analysis, customer experience mapping, and strengthening our overall offering. The work also requires partnering with distribution and marketing for program development.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Competitive intelligence analysis, including working with outside research companies to conduct our quarterly market share analysis.
Customer experience analysis related to the decisions and act of switching IRA providers. This work includes partnering with our customer research to identify key customer insights related to the behavior and mindset of switching providers
Contribute significantly to our Tax Season, Year End, and Retirement Income programs
Responsible for “customer rocks” program
Create and execute a Retirement TOA growth strategy and plan

Desired Skills and Experience
Education and Experience:

BS/BA required. MBA and Financial Services experience preferred.
College + 7-10 years’ work experience; MBA + 4 - 6 years’ experience


Skills/Knowledge:

Strong analytical skills
Sales minded
Think strategically – understand target customer, business partner needs and prior learnings to inform strategy development and ongoing decision making
Strong collaboration skills – experience building partnerships, leading cross-functional teams, leveraging business partner expertise
Good business judgment – able to work independently, proactively manage work, recognize opportunities and challenges, understand business priorities
