Director Promotions Complex New York City

Job Description
The Complex Branded Partnership Studio division is now hiring a Director of Promotions to lead a team of project managers/video and event producers. Reporting to the Vice President of Brand Partnerships Studio, the ideal candidate will have a diverse array of experience in digital and print media, production, promotions, experiential marketing, talent procurement and budget management.



RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Branded Partnership (Sales) division with ideation for promotions and production surrounding added value media campaigns/partnerships
Manage a team of six (6) Promotions Managers and Coordinators based in New York City and Los Angeles
Liaise with agency and brand partners regularly, contributing to pre-sale pitches and post-sale program kick off and status meetings
Project and manage added value budgets associated with brand activations
Source and contract talent and strategic partners from the worlds of music, film, fashion, sneakers, sports, etc, for branded content opportunities
Work closely with internal stakeholders to execute programs across the
Complex editorial platform, Owned and Operated sites (GreenLabel.com, FirstWeFeast.com, SoleCollector.com, etc) and our 100+ publisher partners
Collaborate daily with video and branded content teams to develop creative brand executions
Executive produce all brand events which may include cocktail parties, concerts, pop-up shops, art exhibitions, movie screenings, VIP dinners, in-store activations, social swarms
Travel frequently to oversee or produce photo and video shoots, events and wrangle talent

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 7 years of pertinent experience, with at least 2 years of management experience
Available to travel 50-75% including weekends
Passion for lifestyle, fashion/sneakers, music, sports, gaming and pop culture
Be organized, creative, outgoing, solutions oriented and have a great work ethic
Work well in a fast paced environment, being available both in the office and when on the road
Have great relationships with music and fashion labels, talent agencies, publicists, managers
Previous work executing productions in conjunction with large scale tentpole events as varied as Sundance Film Festival, NBA All-Star Weekend, SXSW, Comic Con, Coachella, X Games, Sneaker Con, Winter Music Conference, Art Basel
Familiarity with CRM/budgeting software, like Quickbase, is a plus
